HomeNews WireWATCH: Congress Wastes Time with First UFO Hearing in Decades keely May 18, 2022 While the crisis at the border, nationwide formula shortage, and inflation rages on, Congress is wasting time with looking into "UFOs." Unless UFOs are building a wall on our southern border or dropping formula from their saucers, then there is no reason Congress should be spending a single second on it. Congress needs to actually work to pass legislation to help Americans. Then they can look into nonsensical things. Watch the hearing here: This is the first Congressional hearing on UFOs since 1968, when they met to talk about the “Symposium on Unidentified Flying Objects." The only thing that would be of concern, rather than mythical green men floating around from outer space, would be if China or Russia have leapt ahead in military aviation technology. Rep. Adam Schiff said that “There are a lot of unexplained aerial phenomena. We don’t know what they are, and they can’t be easily rationalized as weather phenomenon or balloons or anything else. So it’s quite a mystery.” Democrat Rep. Andre Carson, who is on the House Intelligence Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence, and Counterproliferation Subcommittee, said “we’re going to press them on some very serious issues” and added that he believes it crucial for the government to “seriously evaluate and respond to any potential national security risks – especially those we do not fully understand.” I guess we will see how this goes….hopefully it is not a complete waste of time, money, and resources.
