Tucker Carlson Calls Out NJ Governor on Violating Bill of Rights, His Response Went VIRAL! (VIDEO)

Last week, Tucker Carlson had New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy on his program to talk about a decision he made and the uproar it has caused.

Gov. Murphy banned religious services in the state of New Jersey. Those who didn't abide by those rules were then arrested.

Fifteen Jewish men who had gathered for synagogue were actually arrested for gathering for their religious service, completely ignoring our founding documents it seemed.

Carlson isn't one to beat around the bush or equivocate so he flat out asked Gov. Murphy why he thinks he has the authority to trump our founding laws and tell people that they can no longer gather as a church body for worship.

"The Bill of Rights, as you well know, protects Americans' rights — enshrines their right to practice their religion as they see fit and to congregate together to assemble peacefully. By what authority did you nullify the Bill of Rights in issuing this order? How do you have the power to do that?"

"That's above my pay grade, Tucker," Murphy responded. "I wasn't thinking of the Bill of Rights when we did this … we looked at all the data and the science and it says people have to stay away from each other. That is the best thing we can do to break the back of the curve of this virus, that leads to lower hospitalization and ultimately fatalities."

That was a non-answer if I ever heard one and Carlson knew it as well, so he asked him once again,

"Since you are an elected official, a leader in the government, an executive, how do you have the authority to order something that so clearly contravenes the Bill of Rights of the United States – the U.S. Constitution – where do you get the authority to do that?"

The governor replied, "Well, here's the thing. We know we need to stay away from each other, number one. Number two, we do have broad authority within the state. And number three, we would never do that without coordinating, discussing, and hashing it out with the variety of the leaders of the faiths of New Jersey."

"I wasn't thinking of the Bill of Rights when we did this," he said.

This is exactly the reason why Americans keep guns. It's the reason we protest. It's the reason we fight for our freedoms, because idiots like this guy don't even stop to even consider if they're taking away our rights, they just act in a vigilante-style.

The government can make NO law to try and tell a religious body how they are to conduct their worship.

If Your Kids are on TikTok, You May Want to Hear This

TikTok is an addicting app where people post short video clips that can either tell a story, be a dance, comedic, sad, etc. It seems to be a spin off of the popular app "Vine" that went away a few years ago.

I am guilty of having the app to watch the videos posted by others, but I deleted it a while back because it wasted too much time. However, the more I learn about the insidiousness of it, the happier I am that I no longer use it!
