Sen. Graham Rips Schiff A New One After Proving He's the Biggest Hypocrite in Congress

Following the first day of the impeachment trial on Tuesday, Senator Lindsey Graham unloaded on Adam Schiff over his statements he made to reporters that proved he is a huge hypocrite.

Schiff told reporters that if the Senate Republicans don't bow down to the Democrats' wishes and follow the rules that they want then President Trump is guilty no matter what. 

Here's what Schiff said:

If the Senate and the senate leadership … will not allow the calling of witnesses or the presentation of documents, If [Senate Majority Leader Mitch] McConnell makes this the first impeachment trial in history without witnesses or documents, it will not prove the president innocent. It will merely prove the Senate guilty of working with the president to obstruct the truth from coming out, so I do think that by structuring the trial this way, it furthers our case that what’s going on here really is a cover-up of evidence to the American people.

McConnell has said that the resolution outlining the rules of impeachment are fair, and that is true, they are fair. They are the same rules that were used during the impeachment trial of former President Bill Clinton. However, Schiff says that unless Republicans allow new evidence and new witnesses that the process is unfair and President Trump by default is guilty. That's not how any of this works. What an idiot!

Nobody told the House of Representatives to rush through the inquiry and impeach the President so quickly. In fact, it was the exact opposite. Even Democrats warned them of flying through the process. It’s not the Senate’s job to investigate they are the court. The time for investigation is done.

As far as "fairness" goes, Sen. Lindsey Graham said this about Schiff's speech:
