Scott Jennings Reminds Former Biden Administration Official About Mistake Her Boss Made

Republican strategist Scott Jennings called out former Biden official Neera Tanden on Tuesday. She complained about efforts to deport criminal illegal immigrants. He fired back, questioning how many had been let in.

President Trump invoked the Alien Enemies Act of 1798. He aimed to speed up the deportation of Tren de Aragua (TdA) gang members. But a judge blocked it, ordering two planes of deportees to be turned around.

Tanden objected to Trump’s call for the House to impeach Judge Boasberg. Jennings pushed back hard. He said the judge’s rulings were putting national security at risk.

“I don’t think we should impeach judges over rulings,” Jennings said. “But I’d be pissed too if I were Trump. Some of these rulings are crazy and put national security in danger.”

Rep. Brandon Gill of Texas filed a resolution to impeach Boasberg. The Hill reported on the move Tuesday.

Tanden questioned whether Trump’s claims about deportations were true. She suggested innocent people were being sent to countries they never lived in. “So I kind of think it’s actually reasonable in our system of constitutional democracy—” she began.

Jennings didn’t hold back. “I know,” he shot back. “Your administration let them all in. We’re trying to get rid of them. I totally get why you’re upset.”

Tanden, whose OMB nomination was withdrawn over past remarks, served multiple roles in Biden’s White House. She kept pressing her argument. But Jennings interrupted again.

“They are,” he cut in. “They’re illegal immigrants. They are criminals.”

Border Patrol encountered millions of illegal immigrants under Biden. CBP figures confirm it. Meanwhile, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem reported a shocking low—only 200 apprehensions in a single day, the lowest in 15 years.
