Schiff's Latest Accusation Against Trump Could Change the Outcome of the Impeachment Entirely

Democrats are willing to stop at nothing to nail the President with something…anything.

If they saw him walk out of the restroom without washing his hands they would call a congressional hearing to talk about it and decide whether or not they're going to impeach him for abusing his power by thinking he's above the rule of hand washing, or to impeachment on causing a critical health risk to the American people.

That's literally how ridiculous they are.

Now that they know that this impeachment trial is going to fail miserably, they're already trying to use the attack that killed Iranian General Qasem Soleimani as another reason to impeach him.

According to The Washington Post,

The deliberations that went into President Trump’s decision to assassinate Iranian general Qasem Soleimani are looking more slapdash and reckless by the hour. What we’re now seeing will require House Democrats to make a serious and sustained effort to get to the bottom of it all.

And guess what: We may soon get just such an effort.

Rep. Adam Schiff, the California Democrat who chairs the House Intelligence Committee, told me in an interview that he wants to see the House hold open hearings on multiple aspects of this spiraling situation.

“I think there should be open hearings on this subject,” Schiff told me. “The president has put us on a path where we may be at war with Iran. That requires the Congress to fully engage.”

Seriously though, what are they even hoping to accomplish at this point? All they're doing is making themselves look like complete morons.

Rep. Adam Schiff said, “I’m certainly not satisfied that the intelligence supports the conclusion that the killing of Soleimani was going to either prevent attacks on the United States or reduce the risk to American lives. If anything, that risk is going to go up, not down. A lot of these reactions were predictable. And the long-term consequences could be even more grave.”

Schiff says he's not convinced by the intelligence, but if he's not willing to see it, then there is no amount of evidence that can be brought that would make him satisfied. He can't see the big picture that it was a threat of an immediate attack that was neutralized.
