HomeNews WireNFL Fans Boo 'Unity Moment' of Chiefs and Texans, Triggering Liberals Mike September 11, 2020 The tone def NFL continues their social justice crusade, as they hand players from the Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans join arms for a "unity moment." Judging from the reaction, it's pretty easy to see the NFL fans don't want their football action served up with a healthy serving of social justice. Boos rained down on the two teams while the whole thing played out. Check it out: Of course, the booing triggered liberals. Anyone who doesn't agree with them triggers them these days. are…people actually booing this?! #HOUvsKC pic.twitter.com/XiUrcZp582 — stephanie suarez (@southbndsuarez) September 11, 2020 Yes, Stephanie, they are actually booing. They came for a football game, not for a lesson on activism. So called "fans" at Arrowhead stadium booing a show of unity are everything that is wrong with America. You want those Black players, and their White teammates, to shut up and perform for you? YOU DON'T DESERVE THEM.pic.twitter.com/tIslU0EFQa — BrooklynDad_Defiant! (@mmpadellan) September 11, 2020 Yes, Brooklyn Dad, that's exactly what we pay them to: to perform. Their salary is based on us paying for cable television and tickets for the right to watch them do exactly that: perform. Who's surprised by these fans who are booing? It was never about the National Anthem. It was never about respect for the flag. It was always about sheer discomfort over any personal accountability a fan might be motivated to consider regarding their role in systemic racism. — Charlotte Clymer 🏳️🌈 (@cmclymer) September 11, 2020 It was ALWAYS about the DISRESPECT for the flag. We don't tune in to be lectured on social justice. We tune in to watch football. Well, the days of using sports as an escape are long gone. Every lull in the action is filled with rants about "the system." The ratings are certainly going to crater, but it seems that's a price the networks and professional sports leagues are willing to pay.
