A massive recall is underway for Power Stick antiperspirant deodorant, with over 67,000 cases pulled due to manufacturing issues, according to the FDA.
The affected products include three roll-on varieties: Power Stick for Her in “Power Fresh” scent, Power Stick Invisible Protection in “Spring Fresh,” and Power Stick Original Nourishing Invisible Protection.
The recall was initiated on July 10 by manufacturer A.P. Deauville after “cGMP deviations” were discovered—meaning the products did not meet Current Good Manufacturing Practice standards required by the FDA.
Multiple lot numbers are impacted, including 032026B011, 071226D371, and 111626G231, among many others. Consumers can check the full list on the FDA’s website to verify if their product is included.
The deodorants were distributed nationwide and sold at major retailers such as Walmart, Dollar Tree, and Amazon, raising concerns about how widely the faulty products may have reached.
A.P. Deauville, which manufactures its personal care products at an FDA-regulated facility in Easton, Pennsylvania, said the affected batches originated from that location.
While the company has not released details on the specific cGMP violations, the FDA’s classification suggests they were significant enough to warrant removing the items from circulation.
In addition to deodorants, A.P. Deauville also produces shampoos, conditioners, lotions, and facial wipes—though no recalls have been issued for those products at this time.
