White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed Monday that the biggest security threat now facing the U.S. interior is a direct result of the previous administration’s failed immigration policies. The chaos left behind by President Joe Biden continues to put Americans at risk.
Leavitt addressed the shooting of two National Guard members by an Afghan national who entered under Operation Allies Welcome in 2021. She declared, “The border is now secure, thanks to President Trump. But the threat in our interior remains real and urgent.”
The Press Secretary blamed the previous leadership for the resulting violence. She called the Afghanistan withdrawal “one of the most embarrassing moments in the history of our great country.”
Leavitt warned that Americans “continue to live with the deadly consequences of Joe Biden’s horrific leadership.” She stressed, “[Biden’s] public safety threats are already inside our land.”
President Trump is now actively working to clean up the security disaster. Leavitt said, “President Trump was elected on a promise to find and remove them.”
She confirmed the administration is making significant progress toward fulfilling this promise. Leavitt added that President Trump “has a sacred obligation to reverse the calamity of mass, unchecked migration into our country.”
The White House is now moving to reexamine every single Afghan imported into the country by the Biden administration. Leavitt said, “Any individual who threatens our national security for our citizenry will be subject to removal.”
