Kash Patel Reveals What Was on Hand-Written Note From Shooter

FBI Director Kash Patel said agents are working nonstop after Wednesday’s shooting at an ICE detention facility in Dallas.

One detainee died and two others were injured. The gunman, Joshua Jahn, killed himself with a gunshot.

Patel said investigators quickly found an “ideological motive.” Anti-ICE messages were discovered on ammunition near Jahn.

He added that evidence points to a “high degree of pre-attack planning.”

Agents recovered a downloaded document titled “Dallas County Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management” listing DHS facilities.

Jahn also searched ballistics and the “Charlie Kirk Shot Video” between Sept. 23–24. From Aug. 19–24, he looked up apps that track ICE agents.

A handwritten note read, “Hopefully this will give ICE agents real terror, to think, ‘is there a sniper with AP rounds on that roof?’”

Patel said the investigation is ongoing and more updates will be given “when able.”
