Group Sex App Leaks Identifies Users in White House and Supreme Court

After decades of having the internet and such unbelievable technology, they can be a blessing and a curse at times.

Since the invention of the internet, we can now talk to anyone around the world at any time in an instant.

People can now stay informed on events happening across the world, and some people have made a fortune just from the internet.

However, as I said, it can be a curse at times as well. Many horrible things have happened on the internet and because of the internet. Often times, private information is leaked to hackers.

There is an app called "3Fun" which is a group sex app essentially for people seeking out multiple sex partners for threesomes.

After a company by the name of Pen Test Partners conducted a security audit they found that the app was extremely lax in their cybersecurity measures, especially with users' information private.

What was astonishing was that the audit revealed that there are a few people who work in the White House and even the Supreme Court that use the app.

Could you just imagine one of the justices trying to have a threesome? Don't let that image get stuck in your mind.

Fortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case, the birth year of the individual appears to be 1977.

Pen Test Partners made the effort to contact the company about the security problems,

We contacted 3fun about this on 1st July and asked them to fix the security flaws, as personal data was exposed.

They replied:

"Dear Alex, Thanks for your kindly reminding. We will fix the problems as soon as possible. Do you have any suggestion? Regards, The 3Fun Team"

The text was a little concerning: we hope it’s just poor use of English rather than us ‘reminding’ them of a security flaw that they already knew about!

They want our advice for fixing the issues? Unusual, but we gave them some free advice anyway as we’re nice. Including maybe taking the app down urgently whilst they fix stuff?

3fun took action fairly quickly and resolved the problem, but it’s a real shame that so much very personal data was exposed for so long.
