Will Cain, “FOX & Friends Weekend” co-host, is stepping into the 4 p.m. ET weekday slot on Fox News Channel. His new show, “The Will Cain Show,” was announced by CEO Suzanne Scott on Monday as part of programming changes.
Scott highlighted Cain’s credentials, stating, “Will Cain brings years of experience as a broadcaster and lawyer. We are confident his insights will resonate during an important news cycle.” The new lineup reflects the network’s aim to meet viewers’ evolving needs.
Debuting January 21, “The Will Cain Show” will feature discussions with prominent figures across politics, business, sports, and culture. Cain expressed excitement about the opportunity, saying, “It has been an honor to wake up with America, and I look forward to helping viewers better understand the headlines.”
Since joining Fox News in 2020, Cain has interviewed high-profile guests, including President Trump, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Barstool’s Dave Portnoy. His weekend interviews have spanned politics and culture, offering a diverse perspective.
Cain will continue hosting “The Will Cain Show” podcast, which will air on FOX News Digital alongside his new show. The podcast has built a loyal audience with its engaging discussions.
Charlie Hurt will replace Cain as co-host of “FOX & Friends Weekend” starting January 18. Hurt, who has contributed to Fox News and served as opinion editor of The Washington Times, will focus fully on his new role.
Weekend programming is also getting a boost. “The Fox Report” and “The Big Weekend Show” will both expand to two hours starting January 18, providing more in-depth coverage.
On weekdays, FBN’s Dagen McDowell will join “The Big Money Show,” airing from 12-2 p.m. ET starting January 27. She will also continue co-hosting “The Bottom Line” at 6 p.m. ET, balancing her expanded responsibilities.
