X owner Elon Musk predicted that Donald Trump would win against Kamala Harris this week.
Musk has invested heavily in Trump’s campaign. He’s spoken at rallies and campaigned in swing states.
“Last election, I didn’t know a single independent/swing voter who was voting for Trump,” Musk said.
“This time, I don’t know anyone who isn’t. One person after another has confided in me that they’re voting for Trump, but they’re afraid to say so publicly, because it will affect their friends/job/customers,” he continued.
Musk warned of a “crushing defeat” for what he calls the “oppressive big government machine” represented by Harris.
He has contributed at least $132 million to support Trump and other Republicans this election cycle, including over $50 million in the final weeks.
His donations counteract major contributions from Democratic billionaires like Bill Gates and Michael Bloomberg, who each gave $50 million to support Harris.
Trump has suggested that if he wins, Musk could lead a new efficiency commission aimed at reducing wasteful government spending. Musk cautioned that if Trump doesn’t win, it could be the last election.
“Unless @realDonaldTrump wins, this will be the last election,” Musk warned. “The Dems will legalize all the illegals in swing states, so there [will] be no more swing states.”
“America will become a one-party, deep blue socialist state,” he added.
