HomeNews WireDems Already Hinting at Impeaching President Trump AGAIN! Editor December 26, 2019 After making history by "impeaching" a United State president for only the third time ever, it looks like that just isn't enough. The Democrats are wanting to set another record. It looks like they're truly considering impeaching the President a second time. I'm not even sure what they're thinking at this point and won't even venture to guess, but they haven't even turned over the articles of impeachment to the Senate for a trial, yet they're already planning on impeaching him a second time? They're banking on Don McGahn revealing something that is going to be so damning that they'll really be able to nail President Trump. But that's not the case at all. The reason the President didn't want any of his people to testify is that it lends credibility to their scam. According to Politico, House Counsel Douglas Letter said in a filing in federal court that a second impeachment could be necessary if the House uncovers new evidence that Trump attempted to obstruct investigations of his conduct. Letter made the argument as part of an inquiry by the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals into whether Democrats still need testimony from former White House counsel Don McGahn after the votes last week to charge Trump with abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. “If McGahn’s testimony produces new evidence supporting the conclusion that President Trump committed impeachable offenses that are not covered by the Articles approved by the House, the Committee will proceed accordingly — including, if necessary, by considering whether to recommend new articles of impeachment,” Letter wrote. As of right now, Don McGahn has not yet reached an agreement to testify before Congress, with the White House demanding that he abstain from such a spectacle outright. Secondly, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has not yet indicated whether or not there will be any witnesses in the Senate trial at all, let alone any whom have been specifically barred by the White House.
