Controversial Politically Motivated Movie PULLED Last Year Now Set to Be Released

One movie that was expected to be released last year was so controversial that it was pulled from release last year. Now the movie is back and is now set to be released on March 13, 2020.

Universal Studios decided to go forward with the release of the disturbing movie, "The Hunt" which is about a group of conservatives who are kidnapped by liberals and released into the wild so that the liberals can hunt them.

The movie's producer says that the movie actually pokes fun at both sides of the political spectrum.

“We set out to tell a story that didn’t take sides and that meant, yes, being fair and balanced in satirically roasting all sides… to have fun without trying to force a message down anyone’s throat or wagging our fingers… to trust the audience to make up their minds for themselves. We understand how some believe we are in divided times, but nothing brings us together like a movie. And we hope 'The Hunt' can do just that."

Another source close to the film said the movie is strictly satire and meant to stimulate spirited dialogue among moviegoers.

"'The Hunt' is a satirical social thriller intended to entertain and drive conversation, not enrage and divide," the insider explained. "The studio supports storytellers and will continue to distribute films in partnership with bold creators with something to say."

It's beyond me as to how a movie like this is even acceptable in the first place. I'll guarantee you money that if the movie were about conservatives hunting liberals, there would probably be a criminal investigation into some people.

Whether we choose to admit it or not, the media has an influence over society. The things that we watch can and do influence our lives, even on a subconscious level. We can either watch something that is good and positive and something that lifts others up, or we can make movies about killing supporters of a certain presidential candidate just because we don't agree with their policies.

Originally the movie was scheduled to be released shortly after the shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio last year.

President Trump expressed his feelings toward the movie back in Augusts, “Hollywood, I don’t call them the elites. I think the elites are the people they go after in many cases. But Hollywood is really terrible,” Trump said. “What they’re doing, with the kind of movie they’re putting out, it’s actually very dangerous for our country. What Hollywood is doing is a tremendous disservice to our country.”
