Conservative News Reporter Booted from White House Briefing

We've been seeing it for years now; liberal news outlets sending their "journalists" to talk trash to President Trump during press conferences. They're not exactly known for their journalism skills and truthfulness.

We've even seen some liberal reporters kicked out of pressers for things they've said or done, but this time it actually happened to a conservative reporter from one of the most reputable conservative news outlets.

Chanel Rion from One America News Network had been ignoring the rules of social distancing for the press conferences and has been attending and standing in the back of the room when she wasn't supposed to be doing that.

This goes against a guideline released in a statement from the WHCA Board.

"As you are all aware, the WHCA issued a policy last month to restrict seating in the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room to comply with CDC guidelines on social distancing.

Under this policy, we have asked reporters who don't have a seat not to attend press briefings. We appreciate all your cooperation as we do our part to ensure the safety of the White House press corps and White House staff during this difficult time.

We are writing to inform you that the WHCA Board has voted this evening to remove a news outlet from the rotation for a seat in the briefing room. We did this because a reporter for this outlet twice attended press briefings in contravention of this policy.

We do not take this action lightly. This is a matter of public safety."

So the was kicked out of the press briefing, but she's already back.

President Trump picked on One America News' Chanel Rion one day after the White House Correspondents' Association removed her news organization from the briefing room rotation after she violated social distancing rules.

'You had one in the back please?' Trump said, calling on Rion, who for the third day in a row was standing in the back.

Rion didn't pitch a softball at Trump, instead, asking the president and Jared Kushner about some of the data being collected on supplies needed to combat the coronavirus pandemic.

'Mr. President you just enacted the [Defense Production Act] on ventilators and masks, are there any signals from across the country that might indicate there are other things besides masks and ventilators that are slowly rising in terms of need,' she asked. 'Like hand sanitizer, for instance.'

UNBELIEVABLE! Guess Who Was Just Released From Prison to Protect Him From Coronavirus

A man who has been locked away behind bars for raping a child is being released after a Massachusetts Superior Court Judge decided that there was too much of a risk of him catching the coronavirus and they want to make sure he's safe.

This makes absolutely no sense to me. Why would they let someone out of jail – a place where they are safer from the virus than elsewhere – to keep him safe from catching the virus. It's a disease transmitted by people, if released from prison, he's just going to be around more people who have been around more people as well and therefore his odds of getting the virus is far greater.

Woman Arrested and Thrown In Jail Cell with Dozens of Women During Pandemic for Non-Crime

A New York City woman and her boyfriend were both arrested this previous weekend for the biggest crime of our time, "failing to maintain social distancing'.

I get it, we're supposed to keep apart from one another, but at this point it's not a crime, instead this is martial law where they can decide on a whim what to label as a crime.

Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel: 'We Can't Get Back to Normal Until There's a Vaccine'

Special advisor to the director-general of the World Health Organization (WHO), Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, told MSNBC that we will not be able to return to normal until a vaccine is made for the COVID-19. A vaccine which he claims could take between 12 and 18 months to create.

"No one is immune to the COVID-19 virus," Ezekiel said, "It threatens all of us. But while we are all experiencing the same pandemic, we are not experiencing it in the same way. The first dividing line is whether you or someone you love has gotten sick. Many Americans have not yet seen firsthand what devastation a positive test can inflict. Another dividing line is whether you have a job that lets you stay at home, working as you juggle child care and video chats."

Yes! Trump Considers Suspending Funding to WHO

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump said that he is considering putting a halt to funding to the World Health Organization, whom he believes is partially to blame for the outbreak of COVID-19.

“They missed the call. They could have called it months earlier. They would have known, and they should have known, and they probably did know,” the president told reporters at a White House press briefing.
