Coca-Cola CEO Presents Trump With Inauguration-Themed Bottle Of One of His Favorite Products

Coca-Cola Company chairman and CEO James Quincey gave President-elect Donald Trump a special Diet Coke bottle ahead of his inauguration.

Trump’s love for Diet Coke is no secret.

“The Coca-Cola Company has a tradition of creating commemorative bottles for U.S. presidential inaugurations since 2005,” a company spokesperson told Fox News Digital. “James Quincey presented the bottle to President-elect Trump and discussed Coca-Cola’s role in the U.S. economy.”

The spokesperson highlighted Coca-Cola’s impact. “With over 60 bottling partners, we contribute $58 billion annually to the economy and support 860,000 jobs. This meeting emphasized our commitment to America’s economic future.”

Coca-Cola also shared that a limited number of these Diet Coke bottles would be sent to the White House and inauguration events. They won’t be for sale.

Back in 2017, The New York Times reported that Trump drank up to 12 Diet Cokes a day.

However, Trump once mocked the drink in a 2012 tweet: “I have never seen a thin person drinking Diet Coke.”

Later, he tweeted again: “The Coca-Cola company is not happy with me—that’s okay, I’ll still keep drinking that garbage.”

Trump will be inaugurated on Monday, making history as the second president to win non-consecutive terms.
