Charlie Kirk says the clock is ticking for President Donald Trump to dismantle the deep state — and fast.
In a conversation with Tucker Carlson on The Tucker Carlson Show Monday, the Turning Point USA founder warned that Trump has just “six to 12 months” to take action against the entrenched bureaucracies that Kirk and others believe orchestrated the 2016 Russia hoax.
“This revelation of Russiagate is massive,” Kirk said, referring to new documents declassified by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. “God bless her for doing this. Our own government turned against a duly elected president.”
The declassified files, released Friday, point to what Gabbard described as “overwhelming evidence” that the Obama administration manipulated intelligence leading up to the 2016 election. According to a memo, key agencies withheld an FBI and NSA press release that cast doubt on Russia’s involvement in major data leaks — a detail omitted from public narratives at the time.
The memo also accuses intelligence officials of leaking “blatantly false” information to the media following Trump’s victory. “It wasn’t China, it wasn’t our adversaries. It was our own intelligence community,” Kirk said. “That’s what makes this so sinister.”
Kirk called for immediate and decisive action. “We need perp walks. We need arrests. We need accountability,” he told Carlson. “If we don’t smash the administrative state and the deep state in the coming six to 12 months, we’re not going to.”
He argued that Trump is now in a position to go on offense. “He is now the hunter,” Kirk said. “He was the hunted back in the first term.”
Gabbard’s findings arrive amid reports that former top officials — including James Comey and John Brennan — are under criminal investigation for their role in promoting the Steele dossier. While details remain scarce, Fox News Digital reported that the FBI is examining whether their actions amounted to a “conspiracy.”
“This is the moment,” Kirk said. “Russiagate matters because it shows how dark and demonic some of these intelligence operations have become. Trump knows that, and I believe he’s still committed to bringing it all down.”
