SiriusXM’s Megyn Kelly said Thursday that Democrats are forcing the Trump administration to play “whack-a-mole” in court. She accused them of ignoring voters’ will.
Since Trump took office, he’s signed about 60 executive orders. Democrats have fought back hard. According to Fox News Digital, they’ve filed at least 49 lawsuits to block his plans.
On “The Megyn Kelly Show,” Kelly expressed frustration. “I’m irritated at the lawfare unleashed against Trump’s agenda at every turn,” she said. “It’s a constant game of whack-a-mole. Every day there’s a new lawsuit trying to stop Trump from doing what he’s clearly allowed to do.”
Kelly dove deeper, saying Trump is still coming out ahead. “He’s winning these cases,” she said. “But think of the distraction. His lawyers, his agencies—it’s non-stop. And all Elon’s doing is trying to get information.”
One recent win came from U.S. District Judge George O’Toole Jr. He dissolved a temporary freeze on Trump’s plan to offer millions of federal employees a payout. The judge ruled that the labor union lacked standing to sue.
Kelly questioned where the money is going. “What’s Treasury paying out? To whom?” she asked. “Trump’s trying to stop the Biden administration’s last-minute spending spree. They’ve been throwing taxpayer money off a sinking ship.”
Kelly said Trump and Elon Musk are pushing back. “They’re saying, ‘Hold on, we don’t approve this.’ But then the Democrats sue, saying funds must be allocated because Biden said so.” She called the process “subversive” and said Trump will keep winning.
Democrats have turned up the heat. After Elon Musk and Trump moved to downsize the federal government, protests erupted. Oregon Rep. Maxine Dexter joined the fight in D.C., shouting profanities at Trump supporters alongside the American Federation of Government Employees.
