Federal authorities took decisive action Thursday against the radical agitators who terrorized a St. Paul congregation. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the arrests of Nekima Levy Armstrong and Chauntyll Louisa Allen following a coordinated mob attack on a church service. The pair now faces federal charges for violating the FACE Act, which protects the sanctity of places of worship from such lawless interference.
FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed that the arrests were executed by HSI and FBI agents in response to the Sunday incident at Cities Church. Armstrong, a self-described “scholar-activist,” is alleged to have played a key role in organizing the disruption that targeted peaceful worshippers. “Listen loud and clear: WE DO NOT TOLERATE ATTACKS ON PLACES OF WORSHIP,” Bondi declared in a strong warning to far-left extremists.
The second suspect, Chauntyll Louisa Allen, serves as a member of the St. Paul School Board, raising serious questions about the influence of radicals in local government. This duo helped lead dozens of agitators into the sanctuary, where they reportedly screamed at congregants and frightened children. The mob’s justification for the invasion was the fact that one of the church’s pastors is employed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Armstrong’s history of radicalism extends far beyond this latest assault on religious freedom. She has previously praised convicted cop-killer Assata Shakur, describing the fugitive as a “brave” and “revolutionary” figure. Additionally, Armstrong was a primary organizer of boycotts against Target after the retailer moved to scale back its controversial diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.
The disruption at Cities Church is part of a broader wave of far-left protests targeting federal officials who are cracking down on widespread immigration fraud in Minnesota. Despite the intimidation tactics, Pastor Jonathan Parnell has remained steadfast in his focus on the Gospel. “We’re here to worship Jesus,” Parnell stated, refusing to let political agitators dictate the terms of his ministry.
By bringing federal charges, the Department of Justice is sending a clear message that the days of consequence-free harassment are over. Attorney General Bondi has vowed to provide further updates as the investigation into this coordinated attack continues. For now, the arrest of these agitators serves as a victory for the rule of law and the protection of the faithful.
