Moments later, another long white object was also thrown out. However, a White House official clarified that the incident was far less dramatic than it appeared. According to the statement, the person in the video was a contractor performing routine maintenance while President Trump was away.
Trump had spent Sunday and the Labor Day holiday at his golf club in Sterling, Virginia, and was not present during the work. He is expected to return to the Oval Office on Tuesday to announce that U.S. Space Command headquarters will move from Colorado to Alabama, the Associated Press reported.
