Biden Uses Absurd 'Deer in Kevlar Vests' Argument for Grabbing Guns…Again

In light of the shooting at a Texas elementary school on Tuesday, President Joe Biden is regurgitating the absurd argument that deer don't wear Kevlar vests as an excuse to institute an "assault weapons" ban.

"To lose a child is like having a piece of your soul ripped away," Biden began. "There's a hollowness in your chest, you feel like you're being sucked into it, never able to get out. Suffocating. It's never quite the same."

"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit," he continued, quoting Psalm 34, “As a nation, we have to ask when in God’s name are we going to stand up to the gun lobby. When in God’s name are we going to do what we all know in our gut needs to be done?”

He declared, “And don’t tell me we can’t have an impact on this carnage … When we passed the ‘assault weapons’ ban, mass shootings went down. When the law expired, mass shootings tripled.”

And then the famous deer in kevlar statement: “What in God’s name do you need an ‘assault weapon’ for except to kill someone? Deer aren’t running through the forest with Kevlar vests on, for God’s sake.”

In March, Biden called for a ban on "assault weapons" with "high-capacity magazines that hold up to 100 rounds." He then asked, “Do you think the deer are wearing Kevlar vests?”

Maybe he should focus on mental health since there seems to be a plethora of mentally ill people, especially on the left, before he tries taking guns away from law-abiding citizens.
