A self-described Antifa member is urging armed men to descend on Minneapolis to confront federal immigration officials. Kyle Wagner, a local activist and “wannabe influencer,” posted a series of disturbing Instagram videos following the death of Alex Pretti. Wagner labeled federal agents “mass murderers” and “fascist occupiers” while calling for “boots on the ground” to stop their operations.
Wagner’s rhetoric has escalated to calls for open conflict against law enforcement. “We can’t end this without good men in the streets, armed and ready,” Wagner told his followers. He acknowledged that he cannot legally own a firearm himself but pressured others to show up with weapons.
“I need boots on the ground and I need them prepared to do what needs to be done,” Wagner added in the videos. He claimed the city is now in a state of “actual guerrilla war.” These comments have drawn sharp rebukes from local leaders who say influencers are fueling the fire.
Former Minneapolis GOP chair Shawn Holster blasted Wagner for exacerbating the city’s tensions. Holster argued that “wannabe influencers” like Wagner are the primary problem facing the community today. He suggested that removing these provocateurs would eliminate 80% of the current conflict.
The calls for violence follow the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Alex Pretti by a Border Patrol agent on Saturday. Federal officials say Pretti approached agents with a 9mm handgun and resisted attempts to disarm him. President Trump confirmed the administration is “reviewing everything” regarding the shooting but noted Pretti was carrying a “very powerful, fully loaded gun.”
As the Trump administration surge continues, the city remains a tapper box of radical activism and federal enforcement. Agitators have increasingly clashed with agents at local hotels using tear gas and flashbangs. Wagner’s call for an “iron front” of armed resistance marks a dangerous new chapter in the Minneapolis unrest.
