Akeem Jeffries Responds to Trump Releasing Video of Himself Dropping Poop on Protesters

CNN’s Erin Burnett pressed House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries on Monday over a viral AI video shared by President Donald Trump that shows him dropping feces from a fighter jet onto “No Kings” protesters.

Jeffries didn’t hold back, calling the clip “deeply unserious, deeply unpresidential, and deeply un-American.”

“It’s the type of erratic, extreme behavior that the American people have continued to see from this president and from this administration from the very beginning,” Jeffries said during his appearance on “Out Front with Erin Burnett.”

The House Democrat then turned his attention to Republicans, accusing them of enabling Trump’s behavior. “Of course, it’s no surprise to us that House Republicans continue to behave as nothing more than reckless rubber stamps for Donald Trump’s extreme agenda,” he continued. “And of course, for his extreme behavior that they continue to whitewash.”

House Speaker Mike Johnson previously defended the AI video, dismissing it as “satire.”

The clip, which Trump posted to Truth Social on Saturday, targeted demonstrators who took part in the “No Kings” protests. Organizers say around 7 million people joined the demonstrations nationwide to denounce so-called authoritarianism and express opposition to Trump’s immigration and federal enforcement policies.

But some protesters drew backlash after making violent remarks. One man in Seattle said he wanted to kill White House policy adviser Stephen Miller, while another woman in Portland said she wished to “read Trump’s obituary” on her birthday.

A protester in Chicago even called for Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to be “shot and wiped out.”

The controversy around Trump’s AI post and the violent comments from protesters have only fueled tensions as political rhetoric continues to escalate on both sides.
