President Donald Trump fired back at Bruce Springsteen in a blistering Truth Social post on Friday, slamming the iconic rocker for speaking out against him during an overseas concert.
“I see that Highly Overrated Bruce Springsteen goes to a Foreign Country to speak badly about the President of the United States,” Trump wrote. “Never liked him, never liked his music, or his Radical Left Politics and, importantly, he’s not a talented guy.”
Calling Springsteen a “pushy, obnoxious JERK,” Trump accused him of blindly supporting “Crooked Joe Biden,” whom Trump called “a mentally incompetent FOOL.”
Springsteen, currently on his “Land of Hopes and Dreams” tour, had criticized the Trump administration during a Wednesday concert in Manchester. “The America I love… is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration,” he told the crowd.
Trump continued to blast Springsteen’s appearance and intelligence, calling him a “dried out ‘prune’ of a rocker” with “atrophied” skin. “This guy ought to KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT until he gets back into the Country,” Trump added.
Springsteen urged his international audience to “raise [their] voices against authoritarianism and let freedom ring!”—a message that sparked Trump’s fiery online response.
