Tucker Carlson Out 2 of the Sins in America That Are ‘Totally Ignored’

Tucker Carlson on Friday took aim at what he sees as two of America’s most ignored but destructive forces—greed and violence—while speaking alongside Blaze Media’s Jason Whitlock. Carlson criticized the mainstream narrative for focusing disproportionately on racism and judgment while overlooking more systemic threats.

“Racism is a sin, clearly… but they’re not the only sins,” Carlson said. “Violence and greed—those are never mentioned, ever.”

Carlson pointed to the federal budget, saying it pours over a trillion dollars into what he called a culture of “violence” despite the country facing no real threat of invasion. He also blasted the credit card industry, saying the high interest rates sanctioned by law are more damaging to average Americans than groups like the KKK.

“When the mafia charged 20% interest, they went to jail… Citibank charges 30% and it’s fine,” he said, linking the problem to President Joe Biden’s support for laws that limit bankruptcy relief for credit card debt.

Carlson also turned his focus to Selma, Alabama—a city synonymous with civil rights history—expressing outrage over its persistent poverty and crime. “Have you been to Selma in the last 60 years?” he asked rhetorically. “You’ve profited from talking about them. You’ve done squat to help them. You’re kind of a villain, aren’t you?”

The segment highlighted Carlson’s broader call to reframe America’s moral conversation around issues of economic exploitation and unchecked government power.
