Rep. Andy Ogles didn’t hold back. He slammed Democrats for their behavior during President Trump’s address to Congress.
“This was an absolute disgrace on the Democratic Party,” Ogles told Maria Bartiromo. He called out their “lack of leadership” and “lack of vision.” He blamed them for many of the victims in the crowd, linking it to their “failed policies.”
He praised Trump for staying composed. “Kudos to the president for keeping his cool,” he said. “He was calm. It was an amazing speech. I enjoyed it, as did most of the country.”
Polls backed him up. CNN and CBS News reported that majorities of Americans viewed Trump’s speech favorably.
