Tim Walz Roasted for Dodging Question About Hostages Found Dead in Gaza

During a visit to the Minnesota State Fair, Tim Walz, the Democrat vice presidential nominee, seemed to miss a critical question. Someone asked him about six hostages found dead in Gaza.

In the clip circulating online, Walz was seen greeting supporters and answering a few questions. But when asked about the hostages, he didn’t respond. Instead, he simply said, “All right, thanks everybody,” and walked away.

The angle of the video made it appear that Walz was deliberately avoiding the question. However, it’s unclear if he even heard it.

The clip quickly spread on social media, sparking reactions. Some labeled him a “coward” for not addressing the question.

Fox News Digital reached out to the Harris-Walz campaign. They wanted to know if Walz heard the question and, if not, what his response would have been.

Later that day, Walz released a statement condemning Hamas. He called it a “brutal terrorist organization.”

In his post, he expressed deep condolences to the Goldberg-Polin family. He emphasized that no family should endure the loss of a child. Walz condemned Hamas’ actions in the strongest terms.

His visit to the fair followed a tragic discovery by Israel Defense Forces. They found six Israeli hostages dead in Gaza’s tunnels. Among them was Israeli-American Hersh Goldberg-Polin, held by Hamas since the war began on October 7.
