James Carville, the former architect of the Clinton political machine, unleashed a profanity-laced tirade against President Donald Trump ahead of his record-breaking State of the Union address. Appearing on the Politicon YouTube channel, the “Ragin’ Cajun” predicted a “public humiliation” for the administration by November. Carville claimed that nearly every member of the president’s inner circle and military staff secretly “hates” him.
“You know how miserable you’re going to be in November? You know, how f—ing miserable you are?” Carville shouted during the broadcast. He addressed the president directly, calling him a “fat, sorry, sack of s—” and mocking his physical appearance. The strategist further alleged that the Pentagon is preparing to leak damaging information because War Secretary Pete Hegseth “can’t control s—.”
The White House quickly dismissed the remarks as a pathetic display of “late-stage Trump Derangement Syndrome.” Spokeswoman Abigail Jackson labeled Carville an “irrelevant loser” who is rambling to an audience that no longer exists. “President Trump is focused on delivering on his many promises for the American people,” Jackson stated, citing the administration’s success in driving down “Bidenflation.”
Carville also took aim at House Speaker Mike Johnson, claiming his fellow Louisianan “doesn’t know whether to wind his a– or scratch his watch.” He suggested that the Republican-led Congress is on the verge of a “staggering defeat” and refuses to pass any meaningful legislation. Despite Carville’s claims of disarray, the president used his SOTU address to highlight record stock market gains and the “American Manufacturing Renaissance.”
The strategist’s rant included a reference to U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro’s decision to stop seeking the prosecution of Sen. Mark Kelly and other Democrats. Kelly had previously produced a video advising service members they could refuse certain federal orders. Carville suggested that “losing Judge Jeanine” was a sign that the president is in the process of getting “the living s— kicked out of” him.
While Carville closed by wishing the president “good health,” he insisted that tens of millions of Americans are ready to “tell you exactly what the f— they think of you.” Administration officials pointed out that these “scoundrel” tactics from the left are exactly what led to the 2024 landslide. For the Trump team, the focus remains on deporting criminal aliens and ensuring “common sense” returns to the nation’s capital.
