“Number One Fan”: Rapper Rallies For Trump At Treasury Summit

Nicki Minaj doubled down on her support for President Donald Trump on Wednesday. She appeared alongside the President and Kevin O’Leary at the Treasury Department’s “Trump Accounts Summit.” Minaj told the cheering crowd that she is “probably the President’s number one fan.”

The “Queen of Rap” dismissed the backlash she has received for her conservative pivot. She claimed that the “hate” only motivates her to support Trump even more. “We’re not going let them get away with bullying him and the smear campaigns,” Minaj declared.

Trump praised Minaj’s influence during the event in Washington, D.C. “We did pretty well with your community,” the President joked while welcoming her to the stage. He thanked her for her commitment to his new economic initiatives for American families.

The summit focused on “Trump Accounts,” a signature pillar of the administration’s 2026 economic push. These are tax-advantaged investment accounts for children born between 2025 and 2028. Every eligible child will receive an initial $1,000 seed deposit from the federal government.

Minaj announced she will personally contribute hundreds of thousands of dollars to the program. She wants to support the “Barbz,” her massive fan base, in building financial security. “Early financial literacy… will give them a major head start in life,” Minaj wrote on X.

Kevin O’Leary also addressed the summit to thank the President for his pro-business policies. He noted that entrepreneurs create 72% of American jobs and thrive under stable tax rates. O’Leary believes the “Trump Accounts” will turn every American into a shareholder in the nation’s success.

The accounts are scheduled to officially launch on July 4, 2026. Parents and employers can contribute up to $5,000 annually per child. Administration officials estimate these accounts could grow to over $1 million by the time a child reaches adulthood.

Minaj’s appearance follows her surprise guest spot at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest in December. She has praised Trump and Vice President JD Vance for staying “connected to the world.” She believes the Republican administration gives people hope during difficult times.

The event marks a major milestone in Trump’s “affordability blitz” ahead of the midterms. High-profile donors like Michael and Susan Dell have already pledged billions to the initiative. For Minaj, the project is about “paying it forward” to the next generation.
