Former Minnesota Vikings captain Jack Brewer is speaking out against the radical agitators and liberal leadership in Minneapolis after a deadly confrontation on Saturday. Brewer, who has extensive experience in global humanitarian work, argued that the Democrat-led opposition to immigration enforcement is purely political. He claimed that the Left is fighting against ICE because the agency is “deporting their voters” and disrupting a broader plan to fundamentally change the American culture.
“You can’t allow people to come into your country who don’t carry the same morals and values that you do,” Brewer told Fox News Digital. He described the agitators in Minneapolis as “demonic” and warned that allowing individuals from incompatible cultures to enter the United States brings those cultures—and their lawlessness—with them. Brewer’s comments come as Minneapolis faces a third fatal shooting involving federal agents this month, a situation he blames on a total loss of reality within the city.
The latest unrest was sparked by the death of 37-year-old Alex Jeffrey Pretti, an ICU nurse who was shot by a Border Patrol agent during an enforcement operation. The operation was targeting Jose Huerta-Chuma, an illegal immigrant with a criminal history including domestic assault and disorderly conduct. While federal officials state that Pretti “violently resisted” and was armed with a 9 mm pistol, local agitators have used the incident to launch fresh attacks on law enforcement.
Brewer is calling for immediate federal intervention to restore order to the city he once called home. “I hope President Trump sends in the National Guard. We need curfews. We need real consequences for attacking law enforcement,” he said. Brewer even suggested that a “city-wide behavioral health assessment” is necessary because the local population and its leadership have completely abandoned the rule of law.
The former NFL star particularly focused his ire on Mayor Jacob Frey, whom he once supported. Brewer condemned Frey for “tap-dancing” for radical special interests and Somalis at the expense of American and Christian culture. He lamented that the city’s leadership seems more interested in protecting “thugs” and obstructing ICE than in ensuring that law enforcement officers can return home safely to their families.
As tensions continue to boil in the Twin Cities, federal agencies remain on a surge to crack down on widespread immigration fraud. DHS reports that agents have been “aggressively assaulted” and even rammed by vehicles during recent enforcement actions. For Jack Brewer, the solution is simple: support the men and women in uniform, enforce the law, and put an end to the “demonic” chaos currently gripping Minneapolis.
