Elon Musk Supports the Call for Chalie Kirk to Be Time Magazine’s ‘Person of the Year’

Elon Musk is getting behind the massive push to honor the late Charlie Kirk as TIME magazine’s “Person of the Year.” The Tesla CEO, who was the magazine’s choice in 2021, replied “yes,” on Tuesday to a post on X advocating for the conservative activist.

Kirk, who founded the powerful grassroots organization Turning Point USA, was brutally assassinated at a campus rally in September. His murder sent shockwaves through the country and became a central political event of the year.

The original post on X, which Musk validated, stated clearly: “Charlie Kirk should be the person of the year. You can’t change my mind.” The user also shared an image of Kirk along with the caption “We still remember, we’re still fighting.”

Kirk’s influence on the youth movement for President Trump was undeniable. Last month, President Trump honored the conservative leader by posthumously awarding him the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

The “Person of the Year” title is usually announced in early December. Kirk is now being considered alongside other recipients who have heavily influenced the world. President Donald Trump himself was named the recipient last year.
