President Trump personally shut down the latest baseless rumors from the liberal media claiming that FBI Director Kash Patel is on “thin ice.” The President himself dismissed the fake news on Tuesday evening, confirming Patel is doing a great job reforming the corrupt FBI.
MS NOW, the outlet formerly known as MSNBC, started the false report based on anonymous, unverified sources. They claimed Patel was set to be ousted soon, possibly replaced by FBI official Andrew Bailey. This is exactly the kind of unproven gossip the Fake News media manufactures.
The liberal report alleged that the President was frustrated with “unflattering headlines Patel has recently generated.” It pointed to ridiculous claims about Patel’s management of bureau resources, including his girlfriend’s security detail and use of a government jet.
Reporters aboard Air Force One asked President Trump directly if he was gearing up to remove the FBI Director. Trump was immediately clear and definitive.
When a reporter asked, “Are you planning to replace Kash Patel?” Trump quickly shot down the rumor. The President replied en route to Mar-a-Lago, “Kash Patel? No! He’s doing a great job!”
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt had already called the MS NOW story completely made up earlier on Tuesday. She said she was in the Oval Office with Trump and Patel when the headline was published, and the President laughed it off, even posing for a photo with Patel to prove the liberal media wrong.
