NBC’s Kristen Welker actually put a Democrat on the spot this week, grilling Sen. Amy Klobuchar about the seditious viral video urging the military to refuse President Trump’s orders. This is the kind of hard question the mainstream media usually avoids asking the Left.
Last week, President Trump rightly slammed six Democrat lawmakers who released a dangerous video telling service members, “You can refuse illegal orders,” or, “You must refuse illegal orders.” This was a reckless attack on the chain of command, pushing insubordination without any evidence to back it up.
Trump wasted no time in calling out the betrayal. He wrote on Truth Social, “This is really bad, and Dangerous to our Country. Their words cannot be allowed to stand. SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR FROM TRAITORS!!! LOCK THEM UP??? President DJT”.
He doubled down later that morning, reminding the country of the gravity of such actions. Trump said in a follow-up post on Truth Social, “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!”
When Welker finally pressed Klobuchar on Sunday, the senator couldn’t name a single illegal act. Welker asked, “I wonder, do you know what the specific, illegal acts are that your democratic colleagues were referring to there?”
Klobuchar immediately struggled, delivering a classic liberal word salad about hypothetical scenarios. She vaguely said, “If their commander were to tell them, hey go out on the streets… and do this and that, that’s not following the order that is in law.”
The whole setup was exposed as pure political theater. Democrat Senator Elissa Slotkin later admitted on ABC’s “This Week” that they had fabricated the threat of illegal orders. Martha Raddatz asked Slotkin directly, “Do you believe President Trump has issued any illegal orders?”
Slotkin confirmed the stunt, saying, “To my knowledge, I am not aware of things that are illegal.” This entire episode proves the Left was pushing seditious nonsense to undermine the President and weaken our military.
