Greg Gutfeld Torches Jimmy Kimmel: ‘Even in Death, Charlie Keeps Winning Debates’

Greg Gutfeld called out Democrats and media figures for how they reacted to Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension. He said they seemed more upset about Kimmel than about the assassination of Charlie Kirk just a week earlier.

On Thursday’s episode of The Five, Gutfeld said the media was trying to frame Kimmel as a victim. “The media is trying to make Jimmy Kimmel into their Charlie Kirk, as if getting fired is the same as getting fired upon. THAT’S what disgusts me,” he said.

Gutfeld argued there was no comparison. Kimmel can still go home to his family, he said, but Kirk never will. “You can’t turn Kimmel into Kirk.”

He went further, pointing out that most in the media avoid tough public debates. He called them “indoor cats.” Kirk, he said, debated in front of massive audiences — even in death, “Charlie is still winning debates.”

Earlier that day, Gutfeld shared a similar message on X. “i have friends who will be performing in front of live audiences that number in the thousands,” he wrote. “they aren’t worried about being fired; they’re worried now, about being fired upon.”

He said CNN and other outlets don’t understand the risk. “CNN hacks cannot grasp that because they’ve never had to worry about such threats, or an audience,” he added.
